I absolutely loved my surprise mini trip that my husband Brett planned to Palm Springs! It was the perfect timing, coming right after a whirlwind week! He drove me out to the desert to stay at The Ace Hotel, which was super fun! It was extra special, because The Ace is dog friendly, so we got to bring out pup Waylon! We spent time in the pool and in the hot tub, and relaxing outside by the fire and eating at the hotel's 50's diner called King's Highway. It was a lovely trip and I'm so grateful Brett brought me! We're already planning our next trip together...I keep talking about skiing and he keeps saying he'd like to stay on a house boat...so it sounds like we have adventures in our future!
For anyone looking for a sunny and relaxing trip...I definitely suggest Palms Springs for a short trip out of La!
