After 3 photoshoots last week & being sick...my husband figured I could use a mini break, so he booked a night at the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs. Usually when we leave LA to go to the desert, we go to Pioneertown & Joshua Tree and for some reason I have never been to Palm Springs. I've heard so much about The Ace and the little town and I've always wondered what it was like there. It's a cute little town, with a lot of 50's charm and it's quite warm and sunny! We spent most of the time by the pool and in the hot tub and I got to wear my vintage 1940's bathing suit that I found a few months back. Waylon even came along with us (the Ace is dog friendly) and we enjoyed our private patio with a fire place and couches (Waylon loved it).
I have SOOOO much photo work to do...and I am getting closer to having my hand tinted images for the Midnight Rider lookbook done. I look forward to seeing what you all think of the lookbook. It was much different than most of my shoots, because it was all t-shirts and jeans. It was a lot of fun and this year is all about trying new things and growing creatively! And today I just got an email about another job, and I am soooo excited!! Things are looking up for 2013...yay!
