I hope you are all doing quite wonderfully! It's been sunny days here in Los Angeles...and while it is perfect weather, a part of me is missing the cold back home in Pa and Nyc.
I took a whole bunch of photos of musician Rachel Dean this weekend for my upcoming Lullie Vintage lookbook and website. I spent yesterday painting them and I will do the same today. :) The days where I get to paint the images are my favorite part of the whole process...it's so peaceful and fun!
I've been busy gearing up for the Lullie Vintage reopening. It's so weird that I have been on hiatus for over 3 years. Crazy! Time really flies...it seems like just yesterday that I lost my precious Crumbles, my first Shar Pei. She died and that was the day I threw in the towel with LV. I just needed a change in my life and when she passed...that moment became the change. 5 or 6 months later, I fell into photography, and I am grateful for that coming into my life & that I returned to painting on images (which I used to do in highschool). It has been such a satisfying adventure.
So, vintage wise, I've been contemplating having a costume section for photographers on the site. It's just a thought. But I am always looking for costumes, and such...so it might be a fun little added section. I'll be saving up to make prints with antique frames too, in case anyone wants to own a painted photo. Lots to save up for! haha
Well, have a lovely day!
xo,
Shae
